Jared Crotwell joined Rival Insulation as Corporate Safety Manager in late January 2026. Jared has 21 years of active-duty military service as an Engineering Officer, operating from the Bering Sea to the Caribbean Sea and every place in between. In July 2026, Jared was offered a position as the Director of Safety and Field Operations for the Detroit Market, which he accepted. Jared has a very unique background, with a vast storehouse of knowledge to help create efficiencies in everything he and Rival are involved in. Jared manages all aspects of the Rival safety program as well as the projects for the Detroit Market and is “excited to be part of and contribute to a growing company with a strong safety culture.”

A graduate from Columbia Southern University, Jared is also accredited as an Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), a CG Captain, Registered Chief Engineer, as well as a multitude of safety certifications.

Originally from Larose, Louisiana, Jared has also lived in Alaska, Washington, Maine, Virginia, South Carolina, and Louisiana, and now calls Kimball, Michigan, home. Jared enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hunting, fishing, camping, and going to his children’s multiple sporting events.
