Stellantis and Samsung SDI are investing over 2.5 billion in a joint venture electric-vehicle battery plant located in Kokomo, IN. The new plant will support Stellantis’ North American electrification strategic plan which should bring 1400 new jobs to the area in 2025.

The new facility is projected to supply battery modules for a full range of vehicles produced by Stellantis North American assembly plants.

Rival Insulation is proud to have worked with local partners, assisting in both industrial insulation and scaffolding for the project. Completed scope ranged from plumbing, HVAC pipe and duct within IT rooms (Conti Corporation) to interior/exterior process duct insulation for the Solvent Recovery system (Ventcon).
